How should I pack my books?

We encourage you to pack your books in a sturdy box of appropriate size to keep them from becoming damaged in transit. A good rule of thumb is to pack no more than about 30 books per box. Pack the box fully to the top and along its sides to prevent it from being crushed in transit. Do not use newspaper to pack your books as the print from the paper can rub off and damage the books. Books Around the Corner is not responsible for books lost or damaged in transit and not liable for payment. We highly suggest you ship USPS Media Mail and pay for insurance. We do not reinburse for shipping.

How much will I get for my books?

Because our inventory changes daily, it is almost impossible for us to say with certainty which authors or titles are most likely going to be of interest to us. Many factors impact our decision to purchase a title including the popularity of the title/author/subject, the rarity of the title, and the consumer demand. The silver lining to our changing inventory is that items we pass on today could be desired in the future and you are always welcome to resubmit at a later time.

We buy based on current inventory needs and recent sales history and pay a percentage of what we think the copy can sell for or has sold for in the past. In addition, the price we offer may not be a reflection of the books we currently have in stock and can and will fluctuate daily as our inventory history changes.

Will you automatically buy books back that I've bought from you?
No. We buy based on the current supply and demand of our inventory, which changes daily.
