Books Around the Corner bookshop Airbnb


You can shop with Books Around the Corner online then ship or pick up your book or shop by appointment.

If you know of Books Around the Corner you probably know that we have an AIRBNB but now we're also offering the opportunity to rent the ENTIRE bookshop. Each person attending your event will receive a FREE wrapped blind date with a book!

Availability IS dependent on appointments and AIRBNB bookings. We can generally accomodate events taking place between 12pm and 12am as long as you are mindful of noise after 9pm. You can reserve the bookshop for workshops, parties, DnD sessions, baby or wedding showers, meetings, writing or study groups, and book clubs.

Hourly Rate:
$31 per hour with food and beverage permitted. 
**Minimum two hour rental
**30 minutes setup before and 30 minutes cleanup time after also included in the cost.

In addition to prepaying for the event hourly rate there is a $50 deposit required and if there is no missing or broken items or glitter of any kind it will be refunded.

If you purchase 5 or more books from Books Around the Corner for your book club, you can host a book club for up to two hours for free and get 13% off your book club pick! Reservations required at least 2 weeks in advance.



Can I bring outside food/beverage?
Outside food and drink is permitted if communicated with Books Around the Corner in advance. We have a mini fridge and microwave available for use. Food and drink must be cleaned up after the event in the garbage cans provided. 

How Many People Can I Have in Attendance? What Is Available for Use?
Books Around the Corner will provide seating for up to 12 people. This will include a futon and folding chairs set up around the bookshop. We also have a few folding tables we can setup as well if requested. Any special requests must be received at least 7 days prior to the event.

The bookshop will be completely private for you and you can let us know if you'd like us to open our cat doors which gives you the possibility of meeting 1-3 of our cats including our famous bookshop cat Spooky. AND if you'd like to do any shopping we are available to come down to take care of any purchases at the end of your event with a 13% discount.

Can I Decorate?
Yes although we do have quite a wonderfully spooky decorated bookshop. Please contact us if you have any decorations that require hanging and we will assist you. Please do not use ladders to hang decorations. Books Around the Corner and its cats have a no tolerance glitter and confetti policy. This includes confetti balloons, crafting glitter, and edible glitter for events. If glitter is found on in the bookshop a $31 additional cleaning fee will be charged. 

Do I need to clean up?:
You will be provided an additional 30 minutes on the day of your reservation. You are responsible for cleaning up food, decor, and any other materials brought in for your event. Attendees should be instructed clear tables, chairs, and any other surfaces of trash into the trash can provided. We will take care of trash removal as well as vacuuming and table wipedown. A $50 cleaning fee will be held upon reservation and will be refunded to you if excess cleaning is not needed.

If you decide to serve any food or beverages, it's your responsibility to make sure that all leftover food, beverages and/or containers are immediately removed from the space at the conclusion of the event. Attendees should be instructed to place their trash in the trash cans and leave nothing on the tables or floor.

What if I need to cancellation/reschedule my event?

If a reservation is made and the event/meeting will not take place at the reserved time, it is the responsibility of the person reserving the room to let us know immediately by emailing

Cancellations must happen at least two weeks in advance to get your full deposit back. One week’s notice 50% back. No refunds will be provided for less than a week’s notice or for no show.
