Hi Readers, It's officially fall and sadly doesn't feel like it yet. I have and will stay decorated year round and keep the AC on and burn candles to help it feel like my favorite time of year. Our new and permanent location is really starting to feel like home. We love our Little Free Library out front and every time we get to see one of you for an appointment. I will say I find so much joy in packing up orders and monthly book subscriptions to ship and now reaching readers all over the country. As well as prepping orders for our convenient contactless pickup. My goal every day is to read and watch something spooky, not just this time of year but all year. As many of you know i have chronic health issues, anxiety, and depression so this is the time of year I thrive in if only the weather would agree. I've watched and read a lot this past month and included a few recommendations below. I'll be celebrating Mabon tomorrow and hopefully enjoying some fall activities soon as I hope you all will too. The most exciting one I have planned is to paddle a pumpkin in Tualatin's Pumpkin Regatta. I'm so happy I was chosen! FILMS: See No Evil, The Invitation, & One Cut of the Dead We've also had a few guests in our Airbnb and they've had a great time. We have a few events coming up including a few book clubs, a pumpking carving contest, a costume contest, AND celebrating our FOUR year anniversary (DETAILS BELOW). It's wonderful to not only have the bookshop but to utilize it to offer the Airbnb experience. I can't thank you all enough for your continued support. IMPORTANT INFO With the supply chain being even more disrupted last year, shopping early will help you avoid those out-of-stock books this year. Good books come to those who shop early! Why shop early with us? 1. The demand for books is high. 2. Supply shortages are expected. 3. And, most importantly, we need your support. Whether shopping for a loved one or treating yourself, it’s never too early to complete your holiday shopping. You will email/text what day/time you'd prefer and we'll let you know if it's available. Same day appointments are available on a limited basis and appointments are 1 hour. If you've been ordering through our Bookshop page you can still do so if you need shipping or you can move back to doing special orders through email and then contactless pickup.
